September 8, 2009 6:00p.m., Media Center at Hilburn Drive Elementary
Open House Grades K-2

Opening, Beth Lucas President
Beth welcomed everyone and gave a general introduction of Hilburn.

Shelley Blake, Secretary

• Introduced the Board Members serving the second year of their two year term. Introduced the nominees for three open Board positions.
• Asked for the further nominees, there were none
• Voted on the three new board members who were unanimously elected.
• The new PTA Board Members are:
• Jackie Jackle – co-VP of Communications
• Katrina Saunders, VP of Student Enrichment
• Leslie Inscore, VP of Fundraising

Treasurer’s Report, Yoli Cruz

• Introduced the proposed PTA budget for 2009.
• Answered questions regarding budget.
• Will vote on budget on September 10, 2009
