Vision and Values

Vision Statement

The vision of Hilburn Drive Elementary is for the total school community to collaboratively assure a high quality education for every student in a safe, positive and healthy environment.

Statement of Values

The staff members at Hilburn have made the following collective commitments:

1. Utilize data to create achievement goals.
2. Work collaboratively to align instruction with the Standard Course of Study.
3. Differentiate instruction to provide individual opportunities for success.
4. Emphasize high academic and behavioral standards within the school community.
5. Establish and maintain an organized, safe, and clean environment.
6. Encourage community involvement to promote academic excellence.
7. Enhance self-esteem of students, staff and families with a positive attitude toward school, home and the community.
